In the roaring twenties, where the city never sleeps, money is abundant and fun is to be had all around, Jay Gatsby is living the American dream. His parties are the talk of the town and his reputation precedes him, so it’s no wonder his new neighbor Nick Carraway gets swept into his world. Nick is reserved and well-mannered, Jay is excessive and daring, but his heart still yearns for one thing; Daisy, Nick’s cousin. He made a fortune all in hopes to see her again and win her back, but Daisy is now married. He will stop at nothing to get her back, but sometimes a lavish life and a love that burns bright do not always get you the girl. 

Nick’s narration of Gatsby’s infatuation with Daisy is a tragic love story for the ages. Written by the master of American Modernism, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, and with some contributions from his wife Zelda, Gatsby is one of the most liminal works of the Jazz Age and his own masterpiece.
