About
A proud unbeliever raised in a devout Catholic home, Mara has always treated God as a bad idea and church as background noise, until she’s summoned to a concrete facility to speak with an unnamed prisoner who seems to know far too much about her. As their conversations unravel, Mara begins to suspect the impossible. This shackled stranger and her trembling parish Father are the same man, caught in a time loop wrapped around one disastrous night her family never talks about.
What follows is a slow, unnerving descent where bells ring in places with no steeples, corridors tilt into crooked churches, and ordinary objects start to feel like messages from something watching. To break the loop without losing herself, Mara must do the one thing she swore she’d never do. Talk to God as if He’s real and accept that His presence is not comforting, but overwhelmingly, disturbingly alive.
