This is my story of when my screams for help felt the most silent. The story of where I was directly in front of the people I needed to see me the most, and it felt like they didn't see me. This is the story of a Black woman who felt at the end of her rope and almost let the rope go. I know this may resonate with some, yet be unrelatable to others. Please read "I'm Still Standing Here", "My Forever Angel", and "Delusional: Crazy in Love", or the collaboration of the three, "When Life is Lifing", to understand the gist of this book. It's going to take you on a journey many women go through, yet feel unseen and unheard. We can be in a room full of people and be invisible. I am not the persona of a "Strong Black Woman". I'm just a Black woman who somehow made it when others didn't. This is dedicated to the ones who didn't make it.
