"Pericles, Prince of Tyre" is an action-packed Shakespearean play about the adventurous life of Prince Pericles. Forced to flee from Antioch to avoid the wrath of King Antiochus, whom he unintentionally exposes for incest through a riddle, Pericles encounters numerous trials. He is shipwrecked in Pentapolis, where he competes for and wins the hand of Princess Thaisa. Their subsequent life and that of their daughter Marina are filled with both challenges and joy, culminating in an emotionally satisfying family reunion.
