Even as a child, I loved immersing myself in books and discovering strange new worlds. But sometimes you forget this magic as an adult. It was only through my own three children and countless hours of reading to them that I grew back into the world of children's books. Today, I write my own stories. I love fantasy elements—dragons, fairies, or talking animals—but the core of my stories is always real: I want to show children that they are just right the way they are. Self-acceptance is the greatest magic we possess.
