Born October 18, 1941, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Ron was the first-born of six siblings After attending Rule High School and the University of Tennessee, he began a fifty- plus year career as a salesman, and a bi-vocational career as a Minister of Music in Baptist churches. His first book, published on October 27, 2017, was written about his family and the
community where he grew up. It was titled "Straight Outta Lonsdale".
