Hi! My name is Mirri Baird, it's so nice to meet you!

A little bit about me: I am 22 years old, and I live in Utah with my little family of four.

I love the color pink, elephants, and butterscotch and chocolate chip cookie dough milkshakes!

I started writing stories at the age of four. My first official project began when I was 14, but it eventually fizzled out. Right around Chapter 35, I got a bad case of writer's block and never truly recovered. Eight years went by with no writing progress really happening.

Now, I have completed the first draft of my debut novel, and I am beyond excited!

I've always been inspired by authors like Juliette Marillier, Sharon Shinn, and Kristen Britain. I love a good fantasy, as well as a good romance; a slow-burn, enemies to lovers or arranged marriage/marriage of convenience are some of my favorite tropes. My writing incorporates a lot of these same elements, but with an imaginative twist.
