Keir and Princess Maggie met while he was piloting her around the world three years ago. Since then, they've kept their love alive under wraps despite deployments and distance. Maggie is certain Keir's the one, but she needs him to make the next move.

Keir always saw himself as a career hotshot pilot and never thought he'd fall for a princess. Now, he must make a choice. He can stay in the RAF and keep his pilot dreams alive or trade it all in for the girl he loves and settle for the life of a consort - becoming her first officer.

Unable to imagine a world without Maggie, Keir proposes. Unfortunately, the two hit turbulence with a bout of family illness, a prolonged deployment to a dangerous warzone, and the pressures of Keir's adjustment to civilian (and royal) life.
