Lisa Kleypas is the author of numerous historical romance novels, available in fourteen languages. A graduate of Wellesley College with a degree in political science, she published her first novel at the age of twenty-one. Her books have frequently appeared on the New York Times bestseller lists. She was named Miss Massachusetts in 1985 and competed in the Miss America pageant. Lisa is married and has two children.
