Curley Jackson was the epitome of a New Mexico ranch foreman. If you ignored the killer poker playing, jazz lover with a weakness for Italian bombshells from the 60’s. And just the tiniest bit of a control fetish. But one look at Gianna Berri and he felt a tug… on his wallet.

Gianna Berri was sick and tired of being everybody’s last consideration. She made a rash decision and then went on the run from the Mob. She had won a seat in a poker tournament that should give her enough money to hide, at least for a little bit. But she needed funds for a room and a stake (or steak since she hadn’t eaten in a while). How hard could it be to steal one guy’s wallet?

A makeover, the shopping trip to end all shopping trips, dinner and drinks (lots of drinks!) on the arm of a hot cowboy means Gianna wakes up married, but Curley is just being a good guy, right? When the Mob finds her she’ll find out just how good because this cowboy is playing for keeps.
