Laura Collin

Hi, I’m Laura Collin.

I’m currently writing and editing my first book: a dark fantasy with a romantic subplot, and the opening installment of a series that will lead you deep into a world of magic, secrets, and lost creatures.

I’m happily married to the love of my life, we’ve known each other since the day I was born (a real-life fairytale).

We’re also parents to a beautiful, grumpy cat named Sheldon (yes, named after The Big Bang Theory). He has somehow become one of my biggest inspirations while writing!

Since I was young, I’ve always loved fairytales and stories I could lose myself in. My earliest sparks of imagination came from Narnia, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, and of course The Lord of the Rings.

I fell in love with dreaming of other worlds when I was five years old, and it always felt like the natural path of my life to someday create a world of my own.

During my studies in communication and marketing, I stopped reading and writing for several years… until a major event brought me back to the part of myself that needed stories: a place to escape, to heal, and to breathe again.

Now, two years later, my book is only months away from being published, and my life has never felt more magical.
