Kyra Lenith is the author of UNWANTED, a debut dark romance set in modern day Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

As the two main characters try to claw their way out of the trauma of their pasts, love walks into their lives with bright eyes and a hopeful promise, but can love heal their past? Or will it give their trauma a reason to never heal?

Kyra writes dark romance because pain and love can coexist, and she believes there’s no need to force every story under the happily-ever-after label when life is an absolute wrecking ball. She started her debut novel thinking it’s a contemporary romance only to realize, her imagination is much darker when writing.

With issues like the rejection faced by those born from unwanted pregnancies and the severity of fate's influence in the lives of many, Kyra’s books tend to explore heavy themes, morally questionable behaviour and emotionally expressive characters.

As a full time student, Kyra writes whenever possible, thus her debut novel UNWANTED took a few months to draft, many more to write and two years of editing, with the final major rewrite that led to its completion!

When she’s not typing her fingers off, she’s either spending time with her family or listening to music while trying to paint, write poetry or make something cute with her ever abundant stack of coloured sheets.

Kyra also loves to indulge in romance books or any book with a romantic subplot, with some of her favourites being: Now and Forever by Danielle Steel and Chances by Nora Roberts. Though romance is her first choice (genre-wise) she will gladly jump on a Stephen King book any time of the day.
