About

Hello, I’m Kinga — a dark fantasy writer, visual artist, and chronic collector of candlelight, old folklore, and emotionally devastating fictional people.

My work drifts between gothic romance, folklore, and literary fantasy, often exploring grief, transformation, identity, tenderness, and the strange ways people continue choosing each other in difficult worlds. I’m especially drawn to stories where intimacy is treated with the same weight as violence; where monsters are human, and humans become monstrous slowly.

Outside of writing, I work across several creative mediums, including photography, illustration, costume design, and handcrafted props — all of which quietly find their way back into my stories sooner or later. I love building worlds not only through words, but through textures, objects, atmosphere, and visual storytelling.

Right now, I’m working on Vigil, Unassigned — a queer gothic fantasy novella about an elite agent who has spent his life suppressing parts of himself in order to survive, and the bookbinder who refuses to let him disappear behind that mask.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually sketching, wandering through forests, overthinking fictional characters, or being supervised by entirely too many cats.

Thank you for being here. Truly.
