Former White Harbor theater scholarship student Isabel “Iz” Thompson returns to White Harbor as an assistant director, only to find her childhood crush, now NHL rookie Finn Mitchell, training at the theater's athletic program. Finn, struggling with performance anxiety in his first pro season, finds peace in the theater world that once helped his teammate Ramsey Wood. As Isabel helps Finn discover his confidence through performance workshops, he helps her see herself as more than just a background character.
