Martin is the globally bestselling author known for his series A Song of Ice and Fire, which includes novels such as A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance with Dragons. This series was adapted into the HBO television series Game of Thrones. His other works include The World of Ice and Fire, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and the science fiction novella Nightflyers, which was also adapted into a TV series. Additionally, he is the creator of the Wild Cards universe. He resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
