UNDER THE TRAIN
Max still works for a caterer, Buster and Whitey, his fellow low-life friends, are living with him. One of Max's plays about them is being performed in London. Another of his plays is being directed locally by a new girlfriend, and Max thinks she is ruining it. When she disappears, and blood is found in the theater and all over him, Max suspects the worse. He was drunk at the time and doesn't remember anything. A local policeman, wanting to become detective, has his stage manager, follow Max and report back to him. But Max is not alone. His mentor, Louis, an elderly coworker who passed on, is still giving Max advice. He encourages Max until the truth is exposed in a suprise ending.
