What a confusing thing! We teach our girls that God created the universe (and everything in it) in six days. On the seventh day, He rested. Then we send them to school and encourage them to listen and learn. What do they hear there? That the world was the result of a 'big bang' that had nothing to do with any loving, intelligent deity, that they, themselves, are an accident of nature and that there is no plan.
No wonder they're confused!
