Demons and magic and the mafia, oh my!

My name is Mia, and my life is nothing like I ever thought it would be growing up. How can it be when my best friends sacrificed me in a demon summoning and I ended up getting possessed? Well, I’m back and it seems I’m the one turning into a demon.

My body continues to change. My magic continues to change. I’m learning more and more about me, but I’m about to learn even more than I ever dreamed.

It all comes down to sacrifices. What will you do to protect those you love? How about the world?

That’s what I’m facing. Attacks continue against Connor. Attacks continue against Elifio. Attacks against me. They’re coming, and they don’t seem to want to stop. They’re all pushing and pushing, and it’s all I can do to fight back and not lose myself into this new version of me. The one that still terrifies me at the same time I can’t help realizing was the catalyst for being able to speak to God. My parents knew that they were going to be sacrificed for this to happen. They knew. That means that what I’m seeing and experiencing was meant to be. I just don’t understand what that means.

Yet.

It’s just that I know that my ability to control myself rests on the shoulders of my friends. Connor. Elifio. Laurie. Petey. And when one is at risk, what am I willing to do to protect them?
