The demon is dead, with only four survivors making it out of the building alive. Yet even that good news is tarnished by my nightmares. Dark, rushing waters and a crying baby. More and more details appear to me, yet they just add to the confusion clouding my mind.

It doesn’t help that I feel a connection with Emerson and Kyle. I can only have one. Which one should it be? The heinously powerful necromancer, or the boy my age that I saved from hell?

It’s so hard to choose, yet with my past coming back up to tear at my present, learning the truth about myself and how I became a devourer may be enough to destroy my mind before it all comes back together.
