About
What happened to yesterday?
Meet Elliott Murphy - an enigma, a Senior Special Agent with the FBI. In the end, he evolves into a grateful husband; however, initially, he's struggling with recovery as a recovering alcoholic. Hey - nobody is perfect, but this guy will tear at your heartstrings, and find hope when most of us have already given up. Meanwhile, the other guys end up totally demolishing each other's lives by giving stuff a shot, such risky behavior in their previous lives, things you and I might easily consider. But stuff happens, and suddenly your entire life has been blown up. I'm sure you've either experienced this before or witnessed a friend or someone you barely know, but they experience raw dog insanity, crazy stuff happens, and of course, the immediate reaction is, " How could this happen to me? This only happens to other people!!!" These unusual characters take you down a roller coaster of unexpected events, and in the end, after they all have CROSSED OVER, nothing is the same.
Back to Elliott:
After one of his not-so-good days, Elliott is fighting for his life, badly injured and coming out of a drunken stupor. Knowing this must stop, this must change, this is something he is capable of doing, but a behavior he rarely embraces. Then, one thing draws him back better than anything else; this gives him the energy he requires, the flavor of hope that will make sense of his recent mistakes, and puts all else into perspective - a compelling case. His tolerance level during his recovery finally allows him to focus and put everything in motion. His boss is acutely aware of Murphy's deeply honed, experienced skill set, but he also knows Murphy is someone who's been given as many chances as anyone deserves. His sympathy runs high when he sees Murphy's injuries in the hospital, and he gives him that "just one more", against all other considerations, Murphy recognizes that he will never be given another, and that this one exceeds what he deserves, so he gives this case everything he has, all of it.
Especially when it involves chasing the mob that has involved an unknowing insurance executive in a consideable case of fraud. This one last chance, a case that evolves into the one dose of adrenaline that Elliott needs.
Will Elliott be able to prove the guilt or innocence of the completely evolving Jack, who's somehow been invited into another universe, actually, two different worlds. These very different and dangerous environments, where one new friend, a gritty crime boss who attempts to change elements of his life, testing the boundaries of the family he is within, are different considerably than his family of origin. His dfiscontent breeds a high degree of wrecklessness, threrefore crossing paths with a driven FBI agent might not produce the outcome our middle management crime boss will appreciate, perhaps even survive.challenges his mind, not to mention his finances. The other universe where he's been led without resisting one bit, following a woman who might be insane, is definitely capable of giving Jack an education on sex practices our boy had no idea existed. She provides this guy not just incredible levels of pleasure, but the drive to demolish his marriage of a decade, he leaves his angry and depressed wife who probably hates him as much as he does her, along with their three kids. Including one who Jack doesn't recall whether he's ever had a conversation with the boy that lasted beyond a couple sentences. But when evaluating his entire family's dispositions, along with their interests and attachments, Jack realized that kid mightt be better off than all of them.
Did I say he might become a legend?
Elliott is a rockstar, seriously. This story is entertaining, unexpected, engaging and will find your empathetic skills, but nonetheless, you might decide a couple of these characters deserve everything they get. Enjoy!
