About
They should be a disaster in the making. Good thing they don't believe in words like “should.”
Nicole
People think I'm crazy, especially my ex-boyfriends. I prefer the term misunderstood. Still, there's no denying I have an unconventional hobby.
I like to reveal cheaters. I'm following an old co-worker of mine, who's definitely going to Bone Town with someone other than his wife, when I bump into someone I recognize from the theater where I work.
Damien Mitchell is the most gorgeous man alive, and worse, he's interesting. It turns out he's a private investigator, and he only puts in time at the theater to brush up on his acting skills. He tells me I should drop the vigilante act and leave the investigative work to him.
I think not.
Besides, I'm ninety percent sure something screwy is going on at the theater—and if he doesn't realize it, then he needs me. I'm going to help him whether he wants it or not, and I'm hoping we can have some fun along the way.

I'm the only child of two rich narcissists. I'm used to being alone. I like it.
But Nicole's not the kind of woman who can be kept at a distance, and to my surprise, I don't want to stay away. She sets my blood on fire and pisses me off...and makes me feel alive.
I tell her my secrets. I show her my scars. I let her in.
We're both screwed up, so there's every chance we'll destroy each other, but she's not the only one who's prone to bad decisions.
