What happens when you refuse to read the latest "it" series, but suddenly find yourself transported into that world? For Riley, that became her reality. Her mundane shift at BookFolks' cafe, CoffeeFolks, took a turn when suddenly she found herself face to face with a giant dragon. Despite her job being around books and their crazy fans, she had no working knowledge of the book or the world. Suddenly faced with the reality of being at a dragon rider Academy with no way back to her own time, she is now fighting against the rabid fans to make what the Aen Nil Defense Force refers to as Rank to become a dragon rider. To make matters worse, the love interest of the series she never read, Kyllion Winters, is a complete asshole with no interest in anyone or anything outside of his own world. However, she is put on his radar when a dragon literally drops from the sky and chooses her to be his rider. Riley and her new band of misfit friends will work together to save Aen Nil while actively trying to avoid the rabid fans of the original book and of Kyllion.
