One Dark Window is a dark, lushly gothic fantasy featuring Elspeth Spindle who resides in an eerie, mist-locked kingdom. In her head lives the Nightmare, an ancient spirit who protects her and keeps her secrets. Her encounter with a mysterious highwayman, who is also the King's nephew and a treasonous Captain, sets her on a dangerous quest.
