In the kingdom of Kandala, a mysterious sickness ravages the land, and the cure, Moonflower Elixir, is available only to the wealthy. Tessa Cade, an apothecary apprentice, defies this injustice by sneaking out nightly to steal Moonflower petals, producing and distributing the elixir to those in need. Meanwhile, Prince Corrick, known as the King's Justice, administers harsh punishments to maintain order and protect his brother's fragile reign amidst threats of rebellion.
