Michael Hammersmith started his specialty law firm, Extreme Arbitration, to help those failed by the official channels of justice. Rose Murphy Price died when her husband threw her down the stairs of their home. As is too often the case, well-off defendants charm, or bribe, their way out of such crimes.
Research by Hammersmith's best friend, Victor Jensen (known as VJ to his friends), showed that Rose's death was not an accident. Sadly, it was the culmination of years of escalating abuse.
Michael and VJ agreed with Rose's sister and two brothers that Extreme Arbitration was in order. It became a family affair, as everyone agreed that, “He needed killing.”
