Reggie has been injured in the war and is not expected to walk again. Johnnie has been hired to help Reggie to heal. Johnnie's sister is married to the local Lord who has had a one-night stand with Johnnie and wants another. Estranged from his sister because of it, Johnnie tries to repair their relationship while dealing with Reggie's healing and holding off his brother-in-law. Reggie and Johnnie also develop feelings for each other. While Reggie is getting better, he is charged by the local magistrate with unnatural behaviors. Will Reggie be able to beat the charges? Will Reggie and Johnny be able to continue their relationship?

I liked this story. I liked Reggie and Johnnie. Johnnie's brother-in-law was a piece of work. He does get his comeuppance. I liked how Reggie's servants and their families helped Reggie at his trial. They were funny but totally on Reggie's side.

I look forward to reading more of this series

This is a wonderful start to what should be an intriguing tale. I can't wait for more from Sam and The Ghost!

This story is about love,loss and found
Even though he loved one in youth, he grew to love another in adult hood.

This was a very short but beautiful story. Two men Florian an under-gardener and Everett a groom are friends and lovers and since it is 1805 their relationship is hidden. When Christmas Eve comes Everett makes Florian promise that he will attend the party that the Lord and Lady are having something he is loath to do.
Florian stays to himself and never goes into the manor unless to grab something to eat. Everett wants him to come out of his shell and knows that making him promise to attend the Christmas Eve party could be the beginning of him socializing.
Something happens to Florian on his way to the party, something sweet and something that could change him. Such a sweet story about a man who fears being around people but learns those people don’t dislike him.

What I love most about this author due, is the fact that they can get a whole tale info a few chapters. So you can read these over a lunch break or a train ride.
This one is a quick look into the life leading up a Christmas party and how a couple of mischief children brought the whole house closer together.

I've been a big fan of these authors for a while and yes this one was off the normal track they do it was still entertaining read.

You've three main MC, Kit, Bertie and Dylan. Bertie and Dylan are on a quest from England on behalf of a professor to find something in a lost Egyptian tomb. They have hired Kit to be the guide.
The part I love as the story unfolds you get a sense that Bertie and Dylan have more going on. That this 'professor ' has more knowledge than everyone is letting on. But that is only one part of the mystery.
This is book one, and the authors have given us a bonus book to help tie up lose ends that we were left with. But as readers we are left a HFN. Although we are definitely set and ready for the next book.

I enjoyed the story because the storyline is well thought out and presented in such a way that I came to love Buck and Thorn. Their connection is intense, full of emotion and meant to last a lifetime. This is a story that is definitely worth reading.
