Loved It

If you love steamy romance then this is the book for you. Dalia is an engineer and just landed her job in her field finally, but little did she know that she would be working for the Ice King. Their interactions are filled with sparks as they clash, and an undeniable attraction simmers beneath the surface, adding layers of complexity to their developing relationship. A captivating read full of suspense and romance.

What to do when a drug-dealing ex-boyfriend returns with something to tell you?

After being hurt by him for so many years, Kim didn’t even want to entertain the idea. Still, against her better judgement, she sees him. His request was for her to deliver a message to his brother, an ex-cop. Hearing about the brutal murder of his brother sends Ricardo on a quest for justice and vengeance. It seemed his brother was working as an informant for the police and he believed that there was some corruption within the Madrid police department.

With the fiery attraction being mutual between them, Kim and Ricardo work together to hunt down a killer. The case of the dead brother seemed to be more complex and went deeper than anyone thought.

This was an interesting read overall. The narrative was a little slow in some areas, and some of the language was a bit odd. It was also kind of a long story. But it was a good read.

A Captivating Read!

In Secrets in The Shadows, Book Three in the Woman of Strength Series – The Author, Lucy Appadoo, does it again when she pulls the reader into Kim’s story right from the beginning.

Good book!

I enjoyed reading Risk To The Heart. Once I started reading this book, I didn't want to put it down. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information. I recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
