I loved this first book in the series and expect I’ll read them all. I loved that the author wrote about the types of people you’ll find in any town and didn’t over-complicate the story with a ton of action from locations outside of the main story location. It’s a wholesome read that anyone can enjoy.

Have been reading this series of books but not posting reviews. Shame on me. Wonderful stories. Would that I have the imagination of this author. Reading the whole series all the way to the end. Have to find some Zentangles.

Really great - read both - in the series - am hoping there will be more forthcoming - really like victorian types of mysteries - if you like anne perry or elizabeth peters - you will love these. Great characters, great story, great depiction of the era.

What a wicked great read!!! I did not want to put the book down it was so good I enjoyed it every second I read it. So many moving parts, so much action and so well written!!! GREAT!!!
