The "Cosmic Chess"

“Creation was never a gift. The Astral Seeds were wagers, and every wager demands its blood.” — The Alpharni Sage

In the stillness between galaxies, a game has begun. The players are ancient, their board is the universe, and the pieces are us.

When the stars fracture and the sky begins to bleed, Aric Draconis feels the change in his bones. The ancient bond he shares with his dragon, Ignarion, is no longer just a source of strength, it is a target. A terrifying rhythm known as the Primal Echo is rising from the deep, threatening to turn dragons wild and sever the connection that holds the world together.

But the chaos is not random. It is a move on a cosmic board.

King Vaelion understands the game better than anyone. He doesn't just want a crown; he intends to seize the Astral Seeds—shards of raw creation scattered across the realms, and use them to bend the Zodiac Guardians to his will. His goal isn't to rule a kingdom, but to rule creation itself.

Forced to run, Aric must unite a fractured band of survivors: Dorian, a prince fighting a shadow war; Lirael, an archer who never misses; and Kallan, a warrior hiding his fear behind steel.

Together, they are the only unexpected move left on the board.

The cosmos is breaking. The wager has been made. And the only way to win the game is to flip the table.

Creation is preparing for war.
