Sensitive and sweet

This book hit all the right spots for me. As a high school language arts teacher myself, I loved meeting Mac and seeing her joy in teaching her students and the difference they all made on Daniel. I also felt deep sympathy for Daniel’s insecurities that he battled in this book, and the celebration of writing and reading good books was perfection.
